As an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP), our globally focused curriculum helps boys connect with the world around them through inquiry-based teaching covering all aspects of the Australian Curriculum. Our programmes enable students to develop a broad understanding of key learning areas while strengthening their capacities to take a proactive role in their own learning. We are affiliated with the Uniting Church, but warmly welcome boys from all backgrounds and faiths.
We are famous for our adventure sports and outdoor programme. As well as offering overnight camps, we offer a variety of adventure sports including sailing and mountain biking, using our professionally graded onsite mountain bike track. We work closely with all members of the school community, parents, guardians, extended family members and our homestay families to ensure that every student at our Colleges is able to enjoy a rich and rewarding experience and can achieve his personal and academic goals.
Set in a uniquely stunning natural environment, Moreton Bay Boys’ College’s facilities are designed for optimum learning. Located in the thriving eastern suburbs of Brisbane, MBBC is just minutes from beautiful Moreton Bay and less than 15 km from the city centre. MBBC is set within 13 hectares of bushland and native plants, with a 5.5-hectare nature sanctuary behind the classrooms.
